Weihai Sheng'an Shipping Co., Ltd. was established in November 2007 with a registered capital of 25.4 million yuan. It is a joint-stock enterprise with independent legal personality engaged in international and domestic shipping, ship management, port operation, port tugboat services, channel dredging, logistics and warehousing, seafarer dispatch, vocational education, seafarer training, maritime tourism, food and lodging, and liquor agency.
The company has four wholly-owned subsidiaries, namely Weihai Port Shipping Co., Ltd., Weihai Sheng'an Self driving Vacation Apartment Co., Ltd., Weihai Haida Container Station Logistics Storage Co., Ltd., and Hainan Quanhu Shipping Co., Ltd.  
Weihai Vocational College established Weihai Vocational College through school enterprise cooperation, Weihai Maritime Tourism Co., Ltd. (a state-owned holding enterprise) established Weihai Guang'an Urban Construction Investment Co., Ltd. established Weihai Haian Port Co., Ltd., Weihai Weizhi Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. established Weihai Weizhi State owned Assets Operation Co., Ltd., Weihai Huasheng Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. established Weihai Port Development Co., Ltd., and Weihai Xinsheng Shipping Co., Ltd. established Weihai Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd.
